When family caregivers call upon us for help, we:
- ASSESS the situation of their senior loved one
- ADVISE family members and our senior client, based on a customized care plan
- ARRANGE care, based on our clients' needs, preferences, and resources. "Care" may include health and human services professionals, technologies, resources, and other sources of support, education, and information
- ASSIST in emergencies, at doctors' appointments, with family decision-making, with senior living transitions, and with the unanticipated
- ADVOCATE for our senior client, wherever he or she may be (home, hospital, independent or assisted living, memory care, rehab, hospice, nursing home), protecting his or her well-being and interests
- ANTICIPATE the care that your senior family member may need as time passes, so that you have the opportunity for the right conversations and the best preparation
Caring Strategies adheres to the Pledge of Ethics of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. Caring Strategies services are fee-based. We do not accept referral fees from agencies, facilities, or providers of other services or products. Our only interest is the well-being of your senior loved one.
